- Timothy Goldberg, Recent Bard graduate, entering graduate school in the fall

workshop leaders to be announced
This series of workshops will involve a hands-on approach: model building, drawing exercises and computer explorations. The tuition cost of $150 includes supplies, travel for field trips, and lunch on Friday. (Students will bring a bag lunch Monday through Thursday.) All girls currently in 6th, 7th and 8th grade are eligible. Enrollment is limited to 15 students. Registration forms must be signed by both a parent and a school administrator, indicating that the student is responsible and reliable, and plans to attend all of the sessions. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the program.
Workshops may include:
Polygonal Tessellations of the Plane Polyhedra in 3-Dimensions
Wallpaper Patterns and M.C. Escher Drawings Perspective Drawing in 3-Dimensions
Computer Explorations in Symmetry Computer Explorations in Chaos
Field Trips may include:
Tour of Olana
Factory Tour of Design Science Toys
Tour of the new performing arts center at Bard
